After months of reading comments from fans of the Divergent series about the would be title of the third book, author Veronica Roth posted on her site the name of the final book in the Divergent series. From Emergent, Convergent, Resurgent and fan favorite Detergent (I know) and anything else that ends with -ent. Apparently, the title is Allegiant (allegiance. n. 1. Loyalty or the obligation of loyalty, as to a nation, sovereign, or cause. See Synonyms at fidelity) and which would be release this coming October 22. Looking at the title, I think the plot would revolve around loyalty, whether its from Tris or to those people around her.
I know most of you already heard that this best selling series is being made into a movie with Shailene Woodley playing the heroine Tris Prior and Theo James as the charismatic Tobias/Four Eaton. They will be joined by heavy names: Kate Winslet (Jeanine Mathews) and Ashley Judd(Natalie Prior). And when I first saw the first movie still (above) with Tris in the knife throwing scene, my excitement grows.
